We run LJ Law a little differently to what you might expect from your every day law firm. We focus on what matters: making justice accessible. 

Making justice accessible does not require a big office, a pile of files, or you trying to find a parking spot before your appointment with us.

We do not need a big office, because we work remotely. 

We do not need a pile of files, because we work digitally.

You do not need to find a parking space, because we can meet you via Zoom, from the comfort and privacy of your own home.

We try to fit in around your life because we realise that your legal matter is not the only thing you have going on. Who has time to take a couple of hours off work, drive into the city, find a parking spot, spend an hour discussing what is usually a stressful and upsetting topic, before turning around and trying to pick the kids up from school on time? 

Instead, meet us via teleconference or video conference, from a place you feel most comfortable, and you'll even be on time to pick the kids up!

We can also come and meet you in person if preferred.

Making justice accessible also means being more affordable and flexible. By reducing our overheads, we are able to reduce the cost to our clients. At LJ Law, we understand lawyers are expensive, and there are many people who do not have access to justice only because they cannot afford to pay thousands of dollars upfront, which is what the majority of lawyers require. They might be 'asset rich, cash poor', or they fall in the gap between earning too much to be eligible for Legal Aid, but not earning enough to pay lawyers' fees.

We offer flexible payment options, including:

• Pay as you go;
• Payment plans;
• Payment on settlement (for property matters or parenting and property matters); and
• Legal Aid.
